My friend sent me this picture of her horse adopting a fawn after its mother became frightened and ran away. The fawn stayed with the mare for 3 or 4 days until the mother deer was able to come back and find him. I thought this was the cutest picture and I just had to post it!

Yeah theres a movie called Pride I saw a long time ago on channle 200 It was good! Then this year I went to animla planet and watched this Lionness! She haad lost her baby cub and she found a t it got aten. Then another but it was afraid of her and ran back to the herd!

Well, for one thing, three or four months ago would have been November, hardly the time for fawns. ;)

I got the photos in an email last spring. Here's a link to a thread about it on snopes [link];p=1

The date was June '06 I don't know when they recieved the email in relation to when I got mine. I believe the fawn was only out with the horses for a few hours. A few days probably would have killed a fawn that young.

Oh sorry... i was only repeating what i had heard from my mother. What is the name of the people who own the horses and sent you the pictures. I might know them as well!
