My friend sent me this picture of her horse adopting a fawn after its mother became frightened and ran away. The fawn stayed with the mare for 3 or 4 days until the mother deer was able to come back and find him. I thought this was the cutest picture and I just had to post it!

Yep! i've gotten coments from like 2 other people with almost your same story saying they too recieved the pictures by email but there not quite sure who owns the horses or where the pictures came from.

Awww!! That is so sweet. Mothers will do lots of things. There was a lion once who adopted oryx calves totally crazy. But this is so cute
