Temperament:  Saharah is a very hot tempered horse.  On a scale from 1-10 (10 being hot) she is probably an 8 or 9.  She does not try to hurt people purposefully but she does like to do things her own way and be on her own agenda.  If she does not like something or wants to do something different she will definitely let you know.  She loves to fool around and play, but during her playing, she tends forget about the people around her so handlers need to be extra careful and ready to get her attention back if she decides to have a mind of her own.  Saharah is not mean spirited just very mischievous which can make her dangerous to be around.

Temperament: She Is a very ornery mare so far.  She isn't hot tempered though very kind but loves to play around.  she knows she is different than other horses at the stable but doesn't care and loves to show her fire abilities off to the others.  Bennu has loads of energy and can be a handful sometimes but usually means no harm.

Welcome to First Choice Farms! We are located on 65 acres in the beautiful rolling hills of Northeastern Oklahoma.  Here you will find some of the most exclusive and unique horses from refined pure-bred Egyptian Arabians to powerful Drafts and Draft crosses.  First Choice Farms specializes in colored sport horses and Draft horses of all types.  We view that the outward appearance and beauty of a horse is just as important to its success and goes hand in hand with his or hers training, temperament and health.  Our goal is to bring diversity and color the equine world by combining qualities such as the unique appearance and athleticism of the American Paint Horse, the sleek, fashionable spirit of the Arabian, or the temperament and raw horsepower of the Draft horse to develop a truly exceptional athlete and an outstandingly unique performance horse.


Breeding Rules of First Choice Farms

1.You must be a member of HARPG

2.Note me with as much information on you mare or stallion as possible and please include an image. Facts like Name, Gender, Breed, Age, Temperament, Disciplines, Height , Markings and Lineage are important and may play a role in whether or not I allow your horse to breed with one of mine.
  
3.When designing the foal please be realistic and creative.  If you are not sure of the correct Genotype or Phenotype your foal could inherit from the parents just ask.  There are also several great foal color calculators out there on the internet that come in handy.

4.The Owner of the horse requesting the breeding is responsible for creating the breeding picture.  The foal does not exist until the owner requesting breeding also draws an image of the foal.  Both parents names should be somewhere on the picture and the foal should be registered and added to the players Barn or Stable journal.

Long and Needed Update

Wow! I just realized I haven't updated my journal since last summer! I've got lots of stuff to tell!

First – I have so many pieces to submit so get ready for a flood of art work! Some of these are old, from last year and had just never gotten around to putting them up and some have taken this long to finish!

Second –Sterling and I had our first show of the season a couple weeks ago! It was a dressage show and he was awesome as usual! We got first in all of our tests! We are taking lessons from a Dressage instructor in town twice a week and it has really helped!

Third – I may be transferring to a University in North Carolina that has an amazing Equestrian program! They have 200+ horses on campus with 4 barns, 9 riding arenas, and 5 different riding teams in English and western disciplines! Sterling and I going to try out for their dressage team if I get admitted to the school and I would be able to take sterling with me to college! That would be so fun and amazing! But that does mean hauling him across the country. I'm going to be training really hard over the summer to get ready for the tryouts in the fall! Pray for us and wish us luck!

Fourth – we have a new guy on board now! For my mom's birthday I bought her a 16 hand palomino paint gelding who is absolutely stunning! I love riding him! I'm totally jealous and wish I could have gotten him for myself! His name is Jupiter and I will be posting pictures soon hopefully.
